This is caused by the bending movement of Lenti Screen partly due to
changing temperature and metamorphosis of Fresnel screen. The pointed
ridges in the pattern of the Fresnel screen become distorted and cause
this. The effect is more noticeable on a lighter background. Replace
the screen assembly is the only repair work to this.

L3 CHASSIS => TABLETOP MODEL
- Remove the speaker grill by unsnapping it from the bottom corner working around perimeter.
- The screen assembly frame and speaker grill are of the "Snap-on"
type, and no screws are there to fix. Unsnap the frame around the
perimeter of the screen. - Remove 6 screws from the top, right and left screen brackets. The
bottom screen bracket does not need to be removed and serves as an
anchor during screen disassembly. - Remove the side screen bracket by sliding the bracket UP, then
lifting it off. The other brackets are attached in the same fashion. - Carefully remove the Lenticular and Fresnel by lifting them up, out of the bottom support bracket.
- The parts kit comes assembled. Carefully install, so that the
Lenticular (Dark side) screen side is facing the front of the set.
L7 CHASSIS => PEDESTAL MODELS

- Insert thin screw driver into the top-left corner vacant screw
hole and apply gentle pressure until the mask and screen seperate from
the rear cabinet assembly. - Unsnap and lift the Mask and screen out.
- Remove the 9 screws holding the screen brackets from the mask, and carefully lift out the Screen assembly.
- The part kit comes assembled. Carefully install, so that the lenticular Dark Side is facing the front of the set.
